Everything IS bigger in Texas

Here is a view of Texas that you may have not seen before. Right now I am in Fort Worth and I wanted to test out my video camera on my new iPod. The sky here is just huge and I have never seen anything like it. Also another way to see stuff for cheap and have a great time and meet new people is called couch surfing. If you have never heard of it, check it out at couchsurfing.org. Nothing wrong with saving money and having fun.

No, not bark... WWOOF

Dating back to 1971, an organization named the World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms has provided travelers who are neither afraid to live with a strange family nor get their hands dirty, a cheap, healthy and fun alternative to tourist traveling. In exchange for hours of labor every day, a 'WWOOFer' stays and eats for free on a family farm. Not bad if you ask me, especially if you are curious to not just see how people from all over the world live, but to live alongside them.

WWOOF.org has become the gateway for connecting travelers with hosts. To WWOOF, however, you should anticipate more planning than a few weeks. Some countries may require you to purchase a yearly membership to help fund the WWOOF project. Others may even demand a visa before plans may began to be made. Also leave time for the right host-participant connection to be made. Be sure to leave at least a month or two to organize your trip.

Look forward to more updates as I concrete my plans.
